This policy explains how shipping works at Shop.Luxxri — from the moment you pay for your items to the moment your package arrives. Because we’re a sourcing service, our shipping works a little differently than a standard store, so please read this alongside our How to Use Shop.Luxxri guide.
How shipping works: two stages
Shipping at Shop.Luxxri is paid separately from your items, in two stages:
- You pay for your items (Payment 1). We purchase them from the seller on Taobao, Tmall, or 1688.
- Your items arrive at our warehouse, where we receive, check, weigh, and pack them. Only then — once we know the real weight and size of your order — do we ask you to choose a shipping method and pay for delivery (Payment 2).
This means your shipping cost is always based on your actual order, never an estimate, and you never pay to ship something that hasn’t arrived.
Processing & purchasing times
- Order purchasing: After you complete Payment 1, we purchase your item from the seller right away.
- Seller → our warehouse: Items typically reach our China warehouse in 3–5 business days (domestic China shipping).
- Warehouse handling: Once received, we check your item in, perform a visual check, weigh and measure it, and pack it for international shipping.
You can follow each step from the My Orders page in your account.
How your shipping cost is calculated
When your order is packed, we calculate shipping based on its real weight and dimensions and your delivery destination. You’ll then see a live list of available shipping methods, each with its own price and estimated delivery time, so you can choose what works best for you.
Combining multiple items into one shipment usually lowers your shipping cost — another benefit of our warehouse model.
Shipping methods & estimated delivery times
At Payment 2 you’ll choose from the methods available for your country. Options generally fall into three tiers:
- Express (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) — fastest, typically 5–7 business days. Best when you need it quickly.
- Standard (e.g., USPS, YunExpress, EMS) — balanced, typically 7–14 business days.
- Economy — lowest cost, longer transit (can range up to ~20 days on some routes).
The exact methods, prices, and delivery estimates shown for your address at checkout are the accurate, up-to-date options — they vary by destination, weight, and item type. Delivery estimates are provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed, as transit can be affected by customs and local postal services.
The 72-hour shipping window
Once your items are packed and ready, we’ll notify you by email and SMS with a secure link to choose shipping and complete Payment 2. Please complete your shipping payment within 72 hours.
- We’ll send reminders at 48 hours and 70 hours.
- If shipping isn’t paid within 72 hours, your order may be forfeited and the items disposed of or resold, as described in our Terms & Conditions and Return & Refund Policy.
This keeps our warehouse moving and our service affordable for everyone.
Dispatch & tracking
After your shipping payment is confirmed:
- We dispatch your package within 24–48 business hours.
- Your tracking number is added to your order (and sent by email/SMS), usually within 24 hours of dispatch.
- Track anytime from My Orders, or see our Order Tracking page for help reading tracking statuses.
Where we ship
We ship to most countries worldwide. Because available carriers and routes differ by destination, the shipping methods and rates for your specific address are shown at checkout (Payment 2). If no method is available for your location, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
Customs, duties & taxes
Good news: most orders arrive with nothing extra to pay. Wherever possible, we ship using duty-prepaid (“tax-free”) methods, and in our experience customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the EU (including Austria), and Australia have not been charged import duties.
However, customs rules are set by each destination country and can change. In the rare event your local customs authority applies a duty or tax, that charge is the responsibility of the recipient. If you’re unsure, check your country’s import thresholds before ordering. For more, see our Customs, Duties & Taxes Guide.
Lost, delayed, or stuck packages
- Delays: Customs holds and local postal delays occasionally happen and are outside our control. Tracking will usually update once the package moves again.
- Lost packages: If your tracking shows no movement for an extended period or your package is confirmed lost in transit, contact us with your order number and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier and help find a resolution.
