Everything approved business clients need to know about storing inventory, shipping to customers, pricing, and billing on Source.Luxxri 3PL Fulfillment.

What is Source.Luxxri 3PL Fulfillment?

Source.Luxxri 3PL Fulfillment lets approved business clients store products and branded packaging in our fulfillment warehouse, then ship individual orders straight to their own customers from that stored inventory. Your inventory can be sourced through Source.Luxxri or, once approved, sent in from another supplier or from stock you already own.

The simplest way to think about it:
Source → Store → Brand → Fulfill → Ship → Track → Replenish.

Who 3PL is for

  • Ecommerce businesses that want to hold inventory without operating their own warehouse.
  • Private-label brands that need branded mailers, boxes, inserts, or other packaging stored alongside their products.
  • Sellers who source through Source.Luxxri and want bulk inventory stored for future customer orders.
  • Approved clients who already own inventory and want to route it into the Source.Luxxri fulfillment workflow.

This page is the complete reference. If you just want the quick pitch and to apply, visit the 3PL Fulfillment page — this guide is for clients who are already using, or about to use, the service day to day.

Getting Started & Approval

3PL is an approved feature added on top of your existing Source.Luxxri account — there's no second login and nothing new to set up from scratch. Until you're approved, the warehouse inventory, packaging, receiving instructions, billing, and Create Shipment tools stay hidden; once approved, they appear right inside the account you already use.

  • You submit a 3PL request through your Source.Luxxri account.
  • Our team reviews and approves the request.
  • You receive an automatic approval email.
  • Your existing Source.Luxxri account gains the 3PL features — no new account, no new login.
  • You now see warehouse inventory, packaging, receiving instructions, Create Shipment, shipments/tracking, and 3PL billing inside your dashboard.

Getting Inventory Into the Warehouse

Sourcing inventory for 3PL storage

If you're already sourcing through Source.Luxxri, you can route eligible purchases into 3PL storage instead of having them shipped out as a normal order. After the usual sourcing and quality-check process, that inventory moves into the fulfillment warehouse workflow and becomes available for you to fulfill customer orders from.

Moving inventory from sourcing into warehouse storage can occasionally involve a local transfer or transportation cost. When that happens, it's added to your next 3PL invoice as a clearly itemized charge. The amount can vary depending on the size, weight, and movement required, so it is not a fixed fee.

Sending inventory you sourced elsewhere

If you're approved for it, you can send in inventory or packaging you already own. Use the receiving instructions shown inside your Source.Luxxri account — they tell the warehouse exactly how to identify your shipment and assign it to your account correctly.

Where do I find the receiving address?
For security, the warehouse receiving address and your account identifiers aren't published on this page. Once you're an approved 3PL client, log in and open the Receiving Instructions section of your dashboard to get the exact details to use.

Products, Packaging & Inventory

Products and packaging are tracked as separate inventory items in your dashboard, so you always know what you have of each.

  • Store approved branded mailers, boxes, inserts, bags, labels, or other packaging alongside your products.
  • One packaging type can be assigned to multiple products where it makes sense, and different products can use different packaging rules.
  • Inventory and packaging quantities update automatically as customer orders are fulfilled, so your dashboard always reflects what's actually on the shelf.

What happens when inventory arrives?

  • Your inventory is received and processed into the warehouse system.
  • Available quantities become visible in your Source.Luxxri dashboard.
  • You can then use that stored inventory to fulfill customer orders.
  • You can monitor product and packaging quantities at any time and replenish stock as needed.

Creating a Shipment to Your Customer

Important: Outbound customer shipping is not part of your biweekly warehouse invoice. You pay for each outbound shipment immediately inside Create Shipment, before it's released for fulfillment.

  • Open Create Shipment in your dashboard.
  • Select the stored product(s) and quantity for the order.
  • Enter your end customer's delivery address.
  • We validate that the product and packaging inventory you need is actually available.
  • We retrieve the available fulfillment/shipping options for that shipment.
  • You see your available shipping choices and the Fulfillment & Shipping amount for the option you choose.
  • The applicable pick-and-pack fee is calculated once for the entire outbound order based on the total shipment weight — even if the order contains multiple SKUs or multiple items — and is included in the shipment payment.
  • You pay immediately.
  • Only after payment succeeds is the order submitted to the warehouse for fulfillment.
  • Tracking comes back to your dashboard once it ships, and your inventory updates automatically.

What you'll see at checkout

We keep this step simple and transparent. You'll always see what you need to pay before your order is released for fulfillment.

Storage Pricing & Examples

Usage-Based 3PL Storage
Storage is priced according to the warehouse space your inventory occupies. It is not a fixed subscription, so your cost can increase or decrease as your stored inventory changes.

Source.Luxxri warehouse storage rate

Storage allowance 30-day equivalent
Up to 0.1 m³ $12.99
Each additional 0.1 m³ +$3.00

Storage is invoiced biweekly rather than as a fixed monthly subscription. Your actual invoice reflects the applicable storage usage during the billing period, so the amount can change if you add or remove inventory.

Example storage costs

Approximate storage used 30-day equivalent
Up to 0.1 m³ $12.99
Up to 0.2 m³ $15.99
Up to 0.5 m³ $24.99
Up to 1.0 m³ $39.99

These examples show the standard 30-day equivalent of the storage rate. Because warehouse billing is biweekly and your inventory can change during a billing period, your actual invoice may be different.

What does 0.1 m³ look like?

0.1 cubic meter is approximately 100 liters of storage space. Visually, that's roughly a cube measuring about 46 cm × 46 cm × 46 cm.

To make that easier to picture, 0.1 m³ might hold approximately:

Typical product Illustrative quantity
Small jewelry in compact boxes or pouches Approximately 100–300+ pieces
Folded children's clothing in individual bags Approximately 30–50 pieces
Bulkier dresses, sweaters, or similar garments Approximately 20–35 pieces
Women's heels or similar footwear in individual shoe boxes Approximately 10–14 pairs

Planning guide only: These examples are estimates, not guaranteed quantities. Actual storage usage depends on the dimensions, thickness, packaging, cartons, compression, and physical warehouse space occupied by your inventory.

Shipping & Pick-and-Pack Costs

Pick & pack

Pick-and-pack covers the warehouse work required to locate the correct items in your inventory, pick the required quantity, and prepare the outbound order for shipment.

The standard pick-and-pack fee is:

$0.40 + $0.10 × shipment weight in kilograms, per outbound shipment.

Source.Luxxri does not add an additional markup to the standard pick-and-pack fee. It is incorporated into the amount you pay when you create your customer shipment, rather than appearing later on your biweekly warehouse invoice.

The fee is charged once per outbound fulfillment order. If one order contains multiple SKUs or multiple pieces, the fee is still calculated only once using the total order weight — it is not charged separately for every SKU or item.

Example pick-and-pack costs

Shipment weight Pick-and-pack fee
0.2 kg $0.42
0.5 kg $0.45
1 kg $0.50
2 kg $0.60
5 kg $0.90

Estimate your outbound shipping cost

If you'd like to get a general idea of international shipping costs before creating a customer shipment, you can use our Shipping Cost Estimator .

The estimator can help you plan based on destination, weight, dimensions, and shipping method.

Please note: The Shipping Cost Estimator is intended for planning purposes only. The shipping amount shown when you create a shipment is based on the shipment information available at that time. After warehouse packing, the underlying shipping charge may be adjusted if the final packed weight or dimensions differ materially. Final shipping also depends on the destination and available shipping routes.

Your Biweekly Warehouse Invoice

Because the amount of inventory and space you're using can change throughout a billing period, warehouse storage is usage-based rather than a fixed subscription. Source.Luxxri applies the published storage rate to the applicable warehouse usage and consolidates warehouse and incurred service charges into one invoice.

  • A biweekly 3PL invoice is created in your dashboard.
  • You get an email notification as soon as it's available.
  • You review the itemized charges and pay the invoice through Source.Luxxri.

Your invoice shows one total due alongside a clear breakdown of what makes up that total — so you can understand exactly what you're being charged for.

What can appear on a biweekly invoice?

Line item What it means
Warehouse Storage Usage-based storage charges for inventory held during the billing period.
Inbound Warehouse Transfer A local transfer or transportation charge when inventory needs to move into the fulfillment warehouse workflow.
Freight Collection Only when an inbound shipment arrives with local freight still unpaid and the warehouse must pay it to receive the parcel.
Vacuum Packaging Optional vacuum-packing service requested for eligible products.
Special Packaging / Handling Additional packing or handling requested beyond standard processing.
Additional QC / Inspection Optional extra inspection work requested or required.
Extra Photos Optional additional product photos where requested.
Repacking / Relabeling Additional manual work required to repack, relabel, or correct an inbound item.
Other Incurred Service Any other non-routine warehouse or handling cost that actually occurred and is clearly described on the invoice.

Additional & Incurred Charges, Explained

An "incurred" charge simply means a cost created by something that actually happened during the billing period. It is itemized on your invoice instead of being hidden inside a fixed plan. These charges do not apply to every order — they only appear when the underlying service or activity actually occurs.

Freight collection

This is an occasional inbound charge — not an outbound customer-shipping charge. It can apply when a supplier or other sender delivers inventory to the warehouse without prepaying the local transportation cost. If the warehouse must pay that cost to receive the shipment, the applicable local freight plus any handling charge may be added to your next 3PL invoice.

Where applicable, freight-collection handling can range from approximately $2–$10, in addition to the actual unpaid local freight.

Vacuum packaging

Vacuum packaging is available for eligible compressible products such as clothing, bedding, pillows, and similar soft goods.

Vacuum bag size Price
50 × 70 cm $1.99 per piece
60 × 80 cm $2.49 per piece
80 × 100 cm $2.99 per piece

The appropriate bag size depends on the item being packed.

If you are The charge appears on
A standard sourcing customer Your existing Phase 2 shipping invoice, when vacuum packaging is requested and used.
An approved 3PL client Your biweekly 3PL invoice as an incurred service charge, since the inventory is entering or remaining in the warehouse workflow.

For additional details, visit our Vacuum Packaging Guide .

Additional protective packaging

Service Applicable charge
Gas-column + carton packaging $1.60 per carton when used
Woven bag + carton $1.60 per carton when used
Extra warehouse photos $0.80 per product when requested
Additional QC / inspection Quoted based on the additional work required
Repacking / relabeling Variable depending on the manual work required

Pick & pack

Pick-and-pack is tied directly to an outbound customer shipment. It is therefore incorporated into the Fulfillment & Shipping amount you pay when using Create Shipment, rather than being added later as an incurred charge on your biweekly warehouse invoice.

Inbound warehouse transfer

In some cases, inventory you source through Source.Luxxri needs to be transported from the sourcing workflow into the fulfillment warehouse. If a local transfer or transportation charge is incurred during that move, it appears as an itemized line on your 3PL invoice.

This is not a fixed fee because the amount can vary based on the weight, size, and movement required for the inbound inventory.

Due Dates & Past-Due Accounts

  • Your biweekly invoice is created in your 3PL dashboard, and we email you as soon as it's ready — payment is due within 3 days of the invoice date.
  • If it's still unpaid after that 3-day window, your account becomes Past Due and we send a final overdue notice.
  • That final notice gives you a 7-day grace period. During this period you keep access to your billing and your inventory/history so you can review and pay, while new sourcing, purchasing, warehouse intake, and/or fulfillment activity may be restricted.
  • If the invoice is still unpaid after the final grace period, warehouse services may be suspended, and your inventory may become subject to return, removal, disposal, or other handling in accordance with our Warehouse Terms.

If you believe there's an issue with an invoice, contact us before the due date — we're glad to look into it.

Replenishing Inventory

You can top up your stored inventory at any time — either by sourcing more through Source.Luxxri or, where approved, by sending in additional product or packaging using the same receiving workflow described above. Your dashboard keeps tracking the updated quantities automatically, so you always know what's on hand and what needs replenishing.

Returns, Exceptions & Cancellations

  • You can generally cancel a fulfillment order before warehouse processing begins; once processing or dispatch has started, cancellation may no longer be available. Submit cancellation requests as early as possible.
  • Returned or undeliverable shipments are handled through the applicable return workflow and may create return, re-entry, reshipping, or special-handling activity.
  • Any additional cost tied to a return or exception will be communicated and itemized when it's incurred — never hidden or assumed in advance.

Quick FAQ

Do I need a separate account for 3PL?

No. 3PL access is added directly to your existing Source.Luxxri account — there's no second login to manage.

Can I source products through Source.Luxxri and store them for 3PL?

Yes. Eligible bulk purchases can be routed into your fulfillment inventory instead of being shipped out as a normal sourcing order.

Can I store my own branded packaging?

Yes. Approved packaging such as mailers, boxes, inserts, or other branding materials can be stored and tracked separately from your product inventory.

Is 3PL storage a fixed subscription?

No. Storage is usage-based. Your cost can increase or decrease as the amount of warehouse space occupied by your inventory changes.

How much does 3PL warehouse storage cost?

Storage starts at $12.99 per 30 days for up to 0.1 m³, plus $3 for each additional 0.1 m³. Warehouse invoices are issued biweekly, so your actual invoice reflects your applicable storage usage during the billing period.

What can I fit in 0.1 m³?

0.1 m³ is approximately 100 liters of space. As a rough planning guide, it may hold around 100–300+ small jewelry pieces, 30–50 folded children's clothing items, 20–35 bulkier garments, or approximately 10–14 boxed pairs of women's shoes. Actual usage depends on product and packaging dimensions.

Do I pay for customer shipping right away?

Yes. Outbound Fulfillment & Shipping is paid when you create the shipment, and the fulfillment order is released only after payment succeeds.

Is customer shipping part of my biweekly warehouse invoice?

No. Outbound customer shipments are paid separately at Create Shipment checkout. Your biweekly invoice covers warehouse storage and applicable incurred services.

What is the pick-and-pack fee?

Pick-and-pack covers the warehouse work required to select and prepare your outbound order. The standard fee is $0.40 plus $0.10 per kilogram of total order weight. It is charged once per outbound fulfillment order, even when that order contains multiple SKUs or multiple items.

Does Source.Luxxri mark up the standard pick-and-pack fee?

No. The standard pick-and-pack fee is incorporated into the outbound shipment payment without an additional Source.Luxxri markup.

Can one outbound shipment contain multiple SKUs or multiple items?

Yes. Multiple SKUs or multiple pieces can be included in the same outbound fulfillment order where the required inventory is available. The standard pick-and-pack fee is calculated once using the total order weight rather than being charged separately for each SKU or item.

Can I estimate shipping before creating a shipment?

Yes. Use our Shipping Cost Estimator for planning. The amount shown when you create a shipment is based on the shipment information available at checkout. The underlying shipping charge may be adjusted after warehouse packing if the final packed weight or dimensions differ materially, and final shipping also depends on the available route and destination.

How much does vacuum packaging cost?

Vacuum packaging currently ranges from $1.99 to $2.99 per piece depending on the bag size used.

What is freight collection?

Freight collection may apply when an inbound shipment arrives with local transportation charges still unpaid and the warehouse must pay those costs to receive the shipment. It is separate from shipping an order to your end customer and only applies when this situation occurs.

What is an inbound warehouse transfer charge?

Inventory sourced through Source.Luxxri may sometimes require local transportation into the fulfillment warehouse workflow. If a transfer cost is incurred, it is itemized on your 3PL invoice. The amount varies based on the shipment.

What happens if I don't pay my 3PL invoice on time?

Invoices are due within 3 days. If payment isn't received, your account may become Past Due, and a final overdue notice will give you a 7-day grace period. Certain new 3PL activity may be restricted during that period, in accordance with our Warehouse Terms.

Will I lose access to my inventory information if my account is past due?

No — you keep access to your billing and inventory/history so you can review the account and make payment. New fulfillment activity may be restricted until the balance is resolved.

Can I add more inventory later?

Yes. You can replenish inventory through Source.Luxxri or, where approved, send additional stock using the receiving instructions in your account at any time.
